Today saw the final round of the 2017-18 PACC Zero Friction Cycling Time Trial season. The field was small, but the racing was fast – on the way out at least – but a headwind on the way home slowed the average speeds. You can check out the race 5 results here and a round by round recap here.
The last CXtwiLITE race under the setting sun of summer 17/18, held in a lesser-known park that is just one big bull-ant nest.

Congratulations to Carlos Carisimo for winning Seight Sports Sprint Wars II despite a long range effort from Simon Eglinton to try to wear him down - Carisimo was too good.

With heavy rain predicted for the weekend we had a last minute change of venue back to Mulch Hill (park 17) - and we replicated some of the first ever course from waaaaay back in 2011
