A very 'Amercian-style' course with an old cricket oval in North Adelaide providing ample space to incorporate a rectangular spiral of death and some primo grippy grassed corners, mixed with some loose pine needle and mulched sections provided a fast and flowing course in some areas, and a serpantine section requiring full concentration in others
Thanks to Cycle Closet and Focus Bikes for supporting volunteers with givaways for early risers and the pack-up crews. The set-up crews were outstanding - it was remarkeable that the course was set up in good time with two separate teams working at opposite ends of the field and meeting in the middle exactly as mapped, while other crews worked on replicating part of the Summer CXtwiLITE course further east. And the whole lot worked! Everyone who started today had their name added in the draw for a Focus Mares carbon CX frame.
We had a timing system meltdown so the results were in part hand recorded - but full results are up minus the first lap of each race.
