Great TT conditions for the first race of the 2023 Zero Friction Time Trial series with cool but not cold conditions and a light breeze greeting riders.
Conditions at Adelaide Airport 7:30am: 16C (apparent temp 12C) 60% humidity, 19kmh (24kmh gust) winds from the SW, 1009hPa
A smaller field than usual which was just as well as COVID struck down half our team of officials yesterday (hope you're feeling better Paula!) - but we managed to produce results OK with some old cyclo-cross race numbers and the help of a few bystanders with number calling (thank you whoever you are!). Thanks to Will for the short and sweet race briefing and Adam from Zero Friction Cycling for presenting last year's medals and prizes. The Gawler Barossa ACRM provided the marshals to keep everyone safe on course.
