Crossfire Cup Race 1 2020

Port Adelaide CC held its second cyclo-cross race for Winter 2020 and with the Covid-19 restrictions easing, the small but enthusiastic crowd, heckles, and the Trott Park BBQ were back and in force at the Adelaide Superdrome and Forester's Forest Grounds.

Thanks to the Office for Recreation and Sport and Cycling SA, cyclo-cross is being accomodated at the Super-Drome with the first of two gates magically appearing in the permiter fence, linking the use of the Super-Drome's facilities with the best terrain the Forest has to offer. Support from Focus Bikes and Zero Friction Cycling mean some riders and volunteers are in for a pleasant suprise at Race 2!

The next event is Race 2 - on the 2nd August, with the start order in each grade reflecting the results from Race 1, then we'll publish the Series Standings.
