The winter series receives great support from FOCUS BIKES, Zero Friction Cycling, Seight Custom Clothing, Cycle Closet and City of Adelaide. With solid rain overnight the skies were blue and the course muddy for Race 3 of the FOCUS CROSSFIRE CUP. Some serious local hitters were absent including the (almost) unbeatable current Australian Elite Champ Chris 'JBLOOD' Jongewaard and others off racing for UCI Points in China including Shaun Lewis, Tom Chapman, Michael Howson, Stacey Riedel and Jo Easson (and more!) and plenty of others staying in bed for a DNS the races were anyones! The racing was close on a course that favours powerful riders with the thick wet mulch a challenge for many.
