With thanks to Norwood Cycling Club, Round 2 of the PACC Club Championship Series was run at a Tuesday Night Criterium last night.
Taking out first place amongst PACC Riders, young gun Evan Hawkes won his C-grade race, earning maximum points for the round! Scooping up points as well was the new series leader, Darren Searle, whose finish in the C-grade race earned him 2nd place amongst PACC riders, leading home George Vlahos.
The men's series leaderboard is now taking shape, with Darren leading with 38 points, narrowly ahead of David Slater on 34. Both riders won their category in Round 1 taking maximum points, and are developing a healthy lead over the chasing pack, now ably led by Evan.
The women's standings are unchanged, with Kayla McSporran and Vicki-Lynne Birks both sitting on 20 points.
