On Tuesday 24 August the Port Adelaide Cycling Club held its 2021 Annual General Meeting at The King's Head Hotel where our new Committee was elected.
Whilst no new nominations were received, there has been a shuffling of positions amongst the existing Committee.
After two years on the Committee, Stacey Quinn advised she would be stepping down as Vice President for the club. Stacey is a passionate club member who has brought a wealth of knowledge to the committee, along with her commitment and time given to the club was warmly acknowledged on the night by President Mark Gregory in his President's report.
Mark Gregory also decided it would be opportune time to step down as President and has generously offered to take up the Vice President position. The Committee is lucky to have Mark, as his dedication to providing riders of all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to be involved in cycling is what has helped build this great club to be what it is today.
Jenny Macpherson has stepped up as the new President for 2021-22. Jenny has been General Committee member for the past four years and is looking forward to helping shape the future of the club with a very supportive Committee. Jenny is proud to be representing this amazing, loyal, diverse, and fun club of members and volunteers. Jenny (J-Mac, Honey Badger) has a wealth of cycling experience, having represented Australia in road, track and para disciplines, is a coach, and has worked for several cycling organisations. We're excited to have her in the big chair!
The rest of the Committee remains unchanged.
