Another fantastic new venue in our club's traditional heartland - a waterfront course in Port Adelaide with a variety of surfaces and challenges including sand, random shopping trolleys and some slippery off camber corners.  We'll be back!

Despite a soaking wet week leading up to the event, and a light shower during set-up the course stayed mostly firm with just crushed soursobs providing the slippery sections in the off camber corners. Overall the venue held up well, with little rutting.

Thanks to the team of officials and volunteers who help put up (in the drizzle) and packed down the course and do all the jobs that make the day run so smoothly. Thanks to the City of Port Adelaide Enfield for the use of the park.

And of course, thanks to series sponsors Focus Bikes Australia and CrossFit East Adelaide, volunteer sponsors Zero Fiction Cycling and Schwalbe, and club sponsors Scammell and Co, Seafaring Fools, and Seight Sports for your ongoing support.

Entries for the State Cyclo-Cross Championships (at another new existing course!) course close off Thursday 1 August, with racing on Sunday the 4th.

Round 3 of the Crossfire Cup will be on 8 September.
