PACC prides itself on providing training and racing events across a range of cycling disciplines. After significant consideration the PACC committee last night agreed to cease all training and racing events with immediate effect, for two weeks.
This is not a knee jerk reaction, but one that reflects recent weeks, and the impact of COVID-19 in South Australia.
The committee has decided the following events will not take place, based on the possibility and consequence of COVID-19, on our volunteers, officials, and participants.
- Hanson Reserve training - no sessions until 18 January
- PACC Time Trials - no events until 13 February
- PACC Dirt at Dusk CX - no events until 21 February
Entries received for the above will be refunded in full.
We understand these cancellations will impact those wishing to attend our events, but our duty of care to volunteers, officials, members, and participants is our first priority.
We are also yet to see the reality of the festive season and anticipate a rapid increase of positive Covid-19 cases, which may result in us not being able to provide the usual standard of experience at our events.
We look forward to resuming events and training, once the current COVID-19 impact and government management of it is better understood.
