Round 1 of the PACC Club Championship Series is complete, with 10 PACC riders taking the start line of the Zero Friction Cycling Time Trial on 8 Feb 2026.
Leading home the women in the Time Trial bike category was Vicki-Lynne Birks, only 25 seconds ahead of Bronywn Dolman. In the women's Road Bike category, Kayla McSporran flew around the course, beating home Virginia Riches and Jane Johnson.
In the men's Road Bike category, David Slater was the only PACC finisher, although an honourable mention goes to Cameron Mack, who ended his race early to assist another rider who had crashed. Cameron takes home the Fair Play award, and an honorary placing in the Series.
Finally, Darren Searle was the first PACC rider across the line in the TT bike category, beating Chris Cochinos and Carl Purczel.
The next round will be the Norwood Cycling Club Tuesday Night Criterium on 10 March 2026. We encourage as many PACC riders as possible to get out to this event, and need at least 3 volunteers to help run the event on the day, supporting NCC which has generously allowed us to use their race.
