Port Adelaide Cycling Club, with assistance from Cycling South Australia is pleased to announce the first of its Get on Track programs at the newly renovated Hanson Reserve Velodrome.

The 5-week program will be held on Saturday afternoons between 2:00pm and 4:00pm commencing on 16 November 2019. This first program will provide an inclusive environment for women who are new to track cycling – from complete beginners to those who ride a bike more regularly.

The sessions will be run by Cycling Australia accredited coaches who will tailor the program to the ability and progress of participants, and they will ensure everyone develops their confidence and skills throughout the program.

Participants are asked to bring their helmet, shoes and wear comfortable clothing.

No track bike? Don’t worry – the club has bikes available for hire for $25 per program. Toe straps are available, or byo pedals.

This first program is free of charge to participants thanks to the support of Cycling South Australia, and no licence is required.  At the end of the program, you will be invited to further develop your skills at regular track training events and even participate in regular track racing events on the Cycling South Australia calendar.

The program is strictly limited to 24 riders, so you are encouraged to register early via email to: [email protected]

PACC will be developing the program further to cater to other groups such as juniors, masters riders, as well as holding further women’s only sessions in the future. Stay tuned!
