Ever wanted to lead a bunchie?
Whether it be a hitout prior to Super Series, a 100km gravel grind or a pootle down the bay, the Club is always looking for accredited group ride leaders.
AusCycling will be holding two courses on the 16 and again on 17 December (location and times tbc - most likely Hanson Reserve or Vic Park) and we would love you to join in.
The Ride Leader (Road) course will equip you with tools to assist with decision making in daily rides with a set of ground rules and approaches to dealing with everyday bunch situations.
And if you are keen to take it a step further, you can do a bit of extra and become accredited to lead others to become Ride Leaders.
You will be under no obligation to lead regular or ad-hoc rides unless you want to. But of course, the Club would love to have you on board and will help you out if you do!
