Congrats Carly!

I think we need a dedicated 'carly light' section on the forums
I like to ride my bicycle.

will be sensational to watch someone we know compete, awesome stuff Carly!

anyone in the know if the games are on free to air tv? foxtel are advertising that if you have their sports package you'll get their coverage for free which is good - even better is that, from their promos, the 'red button' will lead you to a cycling only coverage so I'm hoping we'll get to see the road race (and Carly) on there without interuptions of them breaking coverage to cross to a tight badminton game

Free-to-air coverage will be broadcast by the TEN Network across the two weeks of the games. This will be done on ONE-HD.

Cycling is on a Fox Pay TV Channel DELHI 5: cycling and rugby sevens share that channel so it is unlikely you will see very cycling event in its entirety but one would expect to see more cycling on this channel than on free to air.

It would be good if we had Channel "Carly Light " but that does not seem likely!!

BTW - Live Coverage of the World Road Titles will be on ONE-HD

great that it's on free to air John - re foxtel, have a look at the promo's they've got on certain channels at the moment (Matt Shervington talking about the coverage), seems to be free if you have the sports package currently in your deal (and they show about half a dozen options like track, field, cycling etc which you can select via the red button which means we 'might' get the whole womens road race and see Carly, fingers crossed)  I'm sure if this is the case all of our track lovers would be happy with this as well!
