stupid question, do the riders run tubulars or singles?

Just watching, a few teams ride deep carbon rim and then looking at astana, they look like clinchers?

Never see a tyre roll of rim either.

Cheers
Don't buy upgrades; ride up grades.

Not sure why you'd expect to see a tyre roll! :???:
If they were on clinchers, you wouldn't see riders being able to keep riding while their tyres are flat...

Usually, the team mechanic is quite good at gluing tubs on. Unless you're Joseba Beloki.

I still don't reckon that crash was caused by the tyre rolling first. It only looks like it came off after he'd flicked the rear wheel sideways.

Lance said:
"We were all chasing hard because Vinokourov was a dangerous rider. We came into that corner way too fast and Beloki locked up his brakes and his rear wheel started sliding everywhere and his tire blew," Armstrong recounted. "It was so hot the asphalt on the road was melting, but it wasn't slippery until we got to that section."

I remember reading a couple of years ago that some pro teams were on clinchers, because they were sponsored by Michelin, who don't make a tubular tyre. I don't know if that's still the case.
What would Travis do?
