Front Lights

I am looking for a new light as my current light doesn't really illuminate the road sufficiently.

I'm chasing something like the link below and would like to hear if anyone has any recommendations.

what's your budget?
I love my Ay-Ups, but they're a bit dollar intensive. They certainly do the job though.

Have you considered Dinotte? XML-1

I have one of those in transit, so hopefully i can tell you more about it by next week :D Miss V's older Dinotte (~$95 on special) gives an impressive amount of light.

Depends on how small/good I'd be happy to spend up to ~$400.

I want it to be as small as possible. Big lights are definitely not euro.

Something with an adjustable light intensity would be nice.

Dinotte 200-AA and 200L (older models) are about the size of a wine cork.. maybe a bit smaller. i'm expecting the newer XML-1 to be similar. euro enough? :P

200 series had 3 solid beam settings (different brightness) and 3 flashing modes..

I haven't managed to kill my Ay-ups yet either, they are pretty sturdy.
That said, I forgot to put them on yesterday, and had to get the train home, along with 3 other guilty looking yet responsible cyclists wo also got caught out by the sudden darkness....
the ideal number of bikes is one more than you currently have
